Back Pain Relief Yoga Poses

May 15, 2019

Description

Chosen by a yoga guru, the poses in the Back Pain Relief Yoga Poses app aim to strengthen the user’s upper and lower back muscles. With increased strength and flexibility, designers believe recovery time from back injuries will shrink to just a few days.

Overview

These yoga poses were chosen for those who suffer from moderate to severe back pain. Using this routine is ideal for those who have primarily sitting jobs for most of the day. The app is divided into 2 sections: the first 4 poses and the second 4 poses. Each pose has an intended purpose whether it be to benefit the back, hip, spine, or other.

You can’t just change your work environment, but you can change how you strengthen your body and prepare for it.”

Routine

Our lives are filled with routine. We work jobs routinely 5 days a week, with only 2 days off. If your job involves you sitting for long periods of time, the developers of Back Pain Relief Yoga Poses believe this is the app for you. You can’t just change your work environment, but you can change how you strengthen your body and prepare for it.

The First 4 Poses

The first 4 poses are to ease those who suffer from moderate to severe back pain into the practice of yoga. They include the cobra pose for lower back pain and the bow pose to increase the strength of the spinal cord. They also include the Trikonasana to strengthen the knees and the mountain pose to relieve the body’s aches and tension.

The Second 4 Poses

After the user has grown accustomed to the first 4 poses, they are then ready for the more advanced second 4 poses. These consist of a pose to increase spine and hip flexibility and a warrior pose for back aches. They even offer a pose to clean the gastrointestinal tract and shrink your waist, and one to help hernias and ulcers.
